I’m not gonna lie: I find it hard to sometimes work on the stuff I want rather than on the stuff I need. Between work, school and personal life, the personal projects I’m often really excited about just fall by the wayside. Setting up this website was one of them in fact – I bought the domain a full year before I got down to it (admittedly during vacation when I had nothing else to do)....
As I set up this website, I realised changing the syntax highlight color scheme is less trivial than I thought it would be while using the popular PaperMod Hugo theme. Eventually I did manage to get it working, so now not only do I have Solarized code blocks that switch between light and dark with the theme selector, I have the whole website Solarized! The solution You can just copy my stylesheets from assets/css, they don’t do anything but set things up....
